How to enable virtual keyboard on Nokia N900

Hi everyone, here’s another short N900 tutorial – this time about enabling virtual keyboard on Maemo beast called N900.

There are only three simple steps, so let’s begin:

1. Open “Settings” from the Menu:

2. Now select “Text input”:

3. And finally, mark the option called “Use virtual keyboard”:

Virtual keyboard only works when the phone is closed, as you’ve might expected…

I prefer the physical keyboard, but you may find this useful in some situations… 🙂

    does the virtual keyboard app or feature come already pre-installed in the device or do we have to download and install?

    It’s working great. Thanks a lot. Guys, first you need to download virtual keyboard to your cell then configure as above
